Omega is my brand of preference.
Here's my vintage 1969 Cal.910 Flightmaster and my Speedmaster "Moon Watch".
Hopefully one day I'll meet Cindy Crawford, the Omega ambassador, and she'll show me her "Constellation".:D

Dave,
That's a fine looking PD watch. Is that one of the early IWC derivatives or is it one of the later Eterna models?

The Breitling Aerospace with quartz movement. One of their more dependable watches since their traditional mechanical chronograph movements are in constant need of servicing.
An important thing to remember with any mechanical movement is to avoid turning back the time whenever required but to always turn ahead. Wound watches don't like to be adjusted against the clockspring's normal rotation.
It's something like petting a cat or dog backwards.;)

Now that you've showed me your '67 Seamaster, I've gained more respect for you my friend. A truly beautiful timepiece that looks like it was meticulously restored.;)

Seeing that the Audi R8 purchase was put on the backburner for now, I'm thinking of spoiling myself and purchasing an all-time favorite time-piece that pays tribute to the famous millle-miglia races of Italian origin.
Here's a Chopard Grand Turismo XL Non-Chrono that sports the natural rubber strap modeled after the Pirelli tire of that era. Also, there's a tyre pressure gauge that is thrown in for good measure. I wonder if the gauge's movement is Swiss or maybe...China?
