Hello to all.
I've posted several albums of my various Porsches, and a few other pictures already.
I am about to have Jake Ruby of flat6innovations.com build my Boxster S to his all newly designed 3.6 big bore high torque motor.
Jake and Charles and L&N Engineering have come up with a great fix to the M96 engines.
Jim Pasha's last artical in the December issue of Excellence Magazine takes a close look at their work. You can also get a lot of info from Jakes website.
No more IMS failures, D chunk failures, and if you want..........a high HP high revving engine, or as I've opted a high torque version of the same big bore 3.2 to 3.6.
They also have 2.5 spec engines, and big bores for the 2.5 qnd 2,7. 996s are next on the agenda, and I plan on having my 996 done as well.
Actually I am hoping to take Jake;s classes in the spring and do the upgrades myself.
It remains to be seen if I can do that or not.
As you can tell I am pumped and thoroughly convinced of Jake Raby's abilities.
He is one of the foremost air cooled engine builders in the states, and has taken on the M96 engine, and Porsche to boot, since they've been less than receptive to outsiders in their water pumpers.
Charles is manufacturing many of the parts. :D
