I'm new to this and I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but here it goes...

We do a lot of updated conversions on Porsche Carrera, Turbo, GT2 and GT3 cars and as new modifications and additional are introduced by Porsche, we try to adapt them to earlier Porsches to update the look.

Recently we have been updating the first generation Porsche 997's to the New generation 997.2 or 998 with respect to the New LED lighting.
LED lights (Taillights & front running lights) have a lower electrical load on the system so if you just install them on a early 997 it caused the taillight faults to alert on the instrument cluster.

So the thing to do is trick the system by putting in a converter box that adds load on the system to trick it to think it's an early taillight and thus remedy the fault alerts on the instument cluster.

The plugs also have to be changed from early 997 to late 997.2 or if you have the schematics you can hard wire it.

It's not an easy task, but the New LED Taillights not only change the look of the car (Looks amazing), but also updates the look to the more current style.

We are currently working on working out the kinks with the front daytime running LED lights. If anyone has experiance, let us know

With Regards,
Beau
