Just came back from a week in Europe. I visited the new Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and managed to take some great 928 shots.
Photo 1: Early 928 sanded down and clear-coated to show high aluminum content. Note rear fenders that have been painted to look like aluminum. Also, design 90 rims were not standard during this era. Sorry PorscheAG...:icon_rolleyes:
Photo 2: Extended 928 presented to Ferry Porsche on his 75th birthday in 1985 as a pre-launch to the 928S4
Photo 3: One of the last 928 GTS factory cars painted in cobalt blue
Photo 4: 928 4-door/4-seat prototype to study possibility of sedan production car. Can you spell Panamera?:D
Photo 5: 928 4-door prototype showing visual absence of C/D pillars and close proximity of glass edging which is so popular in today's vehicles.
